DID CHARLES I DESERVE TO DIE?

In January 1649 Charles is charged with treason - murderer, traitor, and a public enemy of the commonwealth. He walks through the Banqueting House in his Palace of Whitehall and steps out onto the scaffold to meet his executioner. But did the King deserve to die? We look more closely at the complicated man, and only King of England to be executed and subsequently usher in Cromwell’s Republic.

WHO KILLED THE PRINCES IN THE TOWER

In September 1483 two young boys - Princes of the ‘House of York’, children to Edward IV and Queen Elizabeth Woodville vanished under mysterious circumstances from The Tower of London. is their Uncle Richard ‘Duke of Gloucester’ who becomes the infamous Richard III involved, or is there something more complex going on within the ‘Royal’ circle. In a new upcoming mini-doc for HRP we investigate.
